Cucumber Basil Juice 


The juice contains cucumber, which is 95 percent water! For this reason, taking the juice on regular basis can help promote satiety and thus aid in weight loss. But how does water enhance satiety or fullness?

 Look at it this way: 

When the belly is full of water, the amount of space reserved for everything else is reduced; thus, you end up eating less. Think of fruits like apples, oranges or berries as comprising of water and fiber that fills the stomach and make you to not eat a lot. 

The recipe also contains basil, which has anti-inflammatory properties, which greatly help bring about weight loss since fighting inflammation should be one of the steps towards losing weight sustainably. Adding green basil leaves to the juice helps in treating inflammatory conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome and arthritis as well as indigestion.

1 green apple 
1 lime, peeled 
1 large cucumber
 1 cup fresh basil leaves 

Directions


 1. Add all the ingredients to a juicer and press them in batches. 

2. Stir the mixture then pour into a tall glass. Serve fresh and enjoy.
